Its main goal is to improve the health and well-being of our children and families. Red Ribbon Week is a national anti-drug campaign that occurs in October, and our Red Ribbon Week committee focuses on helping our children realize the importance of avoiding drugs and alcohol. |

By keeping parents informed about the issues, this committee encourages parents to become more effective advocates for their children. This committee also coordinates the school’s delegation to PTA Day at the State Capitol during the legislative session and organizes the fifth grade trip to the Capitol. |
