| This committee presents information and programs on health-related issues to parents, students, and staff at Trip Elementary. Its main goal is to improve the health and well-being of our children and families. Red Ribbon Week is a national anti-drug campaign that occurs in October, and our Red Ribbon Week committee focuses on helping our children realize the importance of avoiding drugs and alcohol. |
LEGISLATIVE Shari Cown Kenya Vickers

| This committee tracks and reports on education-related legislative issues at all levels of government. By keeping parents informed about the issues, this committee encourages parents to become more effective advocates for their children. This committee also coordinates the school’s delegation to PTA Day at the State Capitol during the legislative session and organizes the fifth grade trip to the Capitol. |
MEMBERSHIP Linda Maunder

| This committee organizes skate night events at Sparkles Skate Rink on a monthly basis during the school year, usually the first Thursday night of each month. Distribute reminders, display posters promoting skate night and creating ways to increase attendance. |

It also helps with Bus Driver appreciation day, School Nurse Day, etcetera, and recognizes TES staff in other ways.
